RECAP: Bulls at Indiana Pacers
BULLS 101 – PACERS 111
It’s been a rough three games for the Chicago Bulls. They played without Carlos Boozer (hamstring), Joakim Noah (plantir fisciitis) and Kirk Hinrich (infected elbow… a burst bursa sac?) on Friday and Saturday nights, and went 1-1.
Tonight they got Carlos Boozer back for 23 minutes, but it just wasn’t enough to lift the Bulls over a red hot Indiana Pacers team.
The Bulls’ Chances for the Rest of the Season
I recently had a discussion with Brandon Pence of The Bulls Charge about what we thought the Bulls’ ceiling was for the rest of the season, including the playoffs and beyond. If you haven’t checked out The Bulls Charge before, you should. Awesome blog with great insight.

THERE IT IS. THE MOMENT WE’VE WAITED FOR ALL YEAR FROM NATE ROBINSON. #BULLS #CHIVSMIL

That could only mean one thing. Nate Robinson has finally dunked in a Chicago Bulls jersey.
RECAP: Charlotte Bobcats at Bulls
BOBCATS 85 – BULLS 93
It’s no secret that the Charlotte Bobcats are the second to worst team in the NBA. Oh, who’s the worst you’re asking? The Wizards team that the Bulls lost to on Saturday night. But let’s not talk about that. And yes, the Bulls have lost to the Bobcats already this season. Were not going to talk about that, either.
Instead, we will focus on their victory on their homecourt over a Bobcats team that put up a good fight and didn’t want to go away.
RECAP: Detroit Pistons at Bulls
PISTONS 82 – BULLS 85
The Bulls this season haven’t liked beating bad teams. Nor have they liked winning comfortably. It seems like they are borrowing the 1983 Chicago White Sox motto : WINNING UGLY.
So, instead of just blowing out the Pistons, how about a Dennis Rodman like dive into the crowd to save the ball to set up a game winning shot. Okay. It makes for better TV anyways, or something.
QUESTION AND ANSWER: Jimmy, Marco or Rip?

NEWS: Rose taking Full Contact in Practice and Deng Still Hurt
A sort of a good news / bad news update. The good news is, Derrick Rose has been cleared to take full contact in practice. The bad news? Luol Deng is still a gametime decision versus the Pistons.
RECAP: Los Angeles Lakers at Bulls
LAKERS 83 – BULLS 95
The Bulls are coming off three consecutive overtime games and Luol Deng is sidelined with a hamstring injury. You’d think they may have, perhaps, in the slightest, been a little bit tired and may let Kobe and Dwight Howard get the best of them in this one.
If you really thought that would have happened, I would have called you crazy.
RECAP: Bulls at Boston Celtics
BULLS 100 – CELTICS 99
For the second game in a row, the Bulls have had to pull a game winning shot out of nowhere with three seconds left on the clock in overtime to win the game.
The hero this time? Marco Belinelli.
Lieutenant Deng a Gametime Decision Against Celtics
After injuring his hamstring during the first quarter of the overtime game in Toronto, and still finishing the game with 48 minutes, Luol Deng is a gametime decision for the Bulls tonight when they face off against the Boston Celtics tonight at 6:00.
Deng, the NBA’s iron man and minutes per game leader coming in at 42 minutes per game, has played in every game so far this year.
Deng didn’t participate in morning shoot around and spent Thursday icing and stretching his hamstring out.
We can only assume that if Deng doesn’t start, Tom Thibodeau will be starting Jimmy Butler in his place.
